The amount of money I made, the cool and fancy titles I had and the wonderful places work took me around the world. Throughout my professional career, I’ve measured my success on many (wrong) things. If we procrastinated, we didn’t make any money, which meant no food and we didn’t eat (I like to eat) so we got it done. We did that in order to not only survive, but make a better life for everyone, together. My siblings and I were then off to school and then back home later that afternoon to close out the day strong and start over the next morning. I grew up on a farm in the 70's in North East Alabama (dirt poor) where our day started at 3:30 AM every single day where we had to get it done. I like…no I love …really love.to get shit done. I leverage that I like to move quick, see progress and want all to get better faster. I also understand it might scare some people that I like to move quick and show progress fast. I don’t hide the fact I like to move fast. Procrastination was and is a killer of dreams and success. ![]() Progress is good and is the life blood of getting better. ![]() I admit it and I recognize I can be a little too aggressive sometimes with wanting to get things moving and start to see progress. They are being nice in saying that but what I think they would like to say is “You got two speeds, fast and faster”. In the past, some have said “I have a high energy level (“passion” is peppered in there somewhere) and is a person who wants to accomplish things quickly and on time”. I’ve been known to be a little "energetic" when it comes to getting things done.
